From Scan to Smile — Step by Step
iTero 3D Digital Scan
We use the iTero Element intraoral scanner to capture a precise 3D model of your teeth and bite — no goopy impressions. The scan takes under 5 minutes and forms the blueprint for every aligner in your case.
SmileView Simulation
Before any commitment, you see a digital preview of your projected final smile. We review tooth movements, bite correction, and treatment duration together so you know exactly what to expect.
Custom Aligner Fabrication
Align Technology manufactures your series of custom SmartTrack® aligners from your 3D scan data. Each aligner applies controlled force to move specific teeth — typically changing every 1–2 weeks.
Progress Check-ins
You visit every 6–8 weeks so we can monitor tooth movement, assess fit, and release the next set of aligners. Most cases require 18–36 sets for full correction. Complex cases may use attachments for precision.
Vivera Retainers + Free Whitening
After your final aligner, Vivera retainers — made from the same 3D scan — lock in your new smile. All completed Invisalign cases at PAAD include complimentary professional whitening.
